Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention CenterMyrtle Beach is the perfect place for conventions any time of year.

Both business visitors and locals utilize the spacious facilities available at the convention center in the heart of Myrtle Beach.

The convention center also added a spacious outdoor plaza in 2002, which can be used for outdoor cookouts, receptions, and a variety of other outdoor meetings.

The Plaza can also be a great place for press conferences, weddings, wedding receptions, family reunions, or celebrations of any type.

The Myrtle Beach Convention Center area and downtown businesses are enduring their most difficult time in all of Myrtle Beach history: Life without the Pavilion, which closed and was demolished in 2006.

Then in 2008, the Sun Fun Festival, which for over 50 years took place downtown, was moved to the Grand Park area adjacent to the new Market Common.
